TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SUPPLY OF DRUGS : [CMSI]

The project seeks to serve Hospitals and Voluntary Agencies involved in providing free or subsidized health-care. Drugs are sent directly to the customer institutions and there are no authorized stockiest or distributors anywhere within or outside the country.

QUALITY OF DRUGS

Products are guaranteed for their quality, and copies of quality Assurance Certificate for any batch will be made available on request.

ORDERING OF DRUGS

It will help us plan the production, if you could indicate your approximate monthly requirement for the next three months in the attached Order Form and send it back to us. Supplies will be effected within a week of receiving the order, except in cases of raw materials. Shortage, which is beyond our control.

As per Drug Rules, Order Forms for Drugs should have the name of the prescribing Doctor along with his/her Registration Number on the Letter-head, and his/her Signature at the bottom of the Order Form.

PRICES

Ours is a 'no profit, no loss' operation and prices and fixed depending on the current price of raw materials. the trade-price mentioned in the list is our Cost Price and consignments are billed on that basis. Retail price (M.R.P) which is given in the label is fixed allowing a margin of 50% to the Hospital/Agency towards trading/dispensing charges. Prices quoted are subject to revision without prior intimation.

PACKING AND FORWARDING

Packing is free. Actuals will be charged for forwarding the consignment. out - station consignments are dispatched by Lorry/Rail/Postal parcel/Courier. While ordering Drugs, please indicate the mode of dispatch and the nearest Lorry Office or Rail Station as the case may be. While every effort is taken to ensure safe delivery, the consignment, are dispatched at the Customer's risk unless insurance is specified and paid for. Goods are to be checked on receipt and discrepancy if any, be notified immediately.

TERMS OF PAYMENT

Payment shall be either by Cheque (local) or Demand Draft (Outstation) drawn in favour of Comprehensive Medical Services, India on receipt of the consignment. No payment in cash is to be made to the Promotional Staff and such dealings will be at the risk of the customer.

TAXES

Sales tax will be charged as per rates prescribed by the Central and State Governments. The Tamil Nadu Sales Tax is applicable on all orders supplied within the state. 4% Central Sales Tax shall be charged if the Customer Institution/Agency has a CST number (from the Sales Tax Department). Otherwise the regular rate of 10% will be charged. Central Excise - shall be charged as per Central Excise rules.

ROAD PERMIT

Road permits are necessary to transport Drugs by road to U.P., Rajasthan, West Bengal and Orissa. (Permits can be had from Sales Tax Department). Rail and Postal parcel are free from such restrictions.
